Fontanus Scientific Methodological Research and Educational Center
The Fontanus Scientific Methodological Research and Educational Center is a privately funded research center. Our research and projects focus on human development, the relationship between man and reality. We examine our research topics from several different perspectives, we approach them from different disciplines. In our fifteen years of operation, we have developed numerous modern, innovative and efficient methodologies. We consider it important to put our research results into practice, in the form of tools, methods and trainings that serve development.
Water Skyball
Water Skyball is a Hungarian invention, an exciting and amusing aquatic sport played by 2 against 2 along special rules. This fast-breaking, more and more popular game was created in 2013 and has been developed for years by the professional team of Fontanus Center with the leadership of Balázs Török-Szabó. Their aim was to create a game that is suitable for improving various physical and mental skills and abilities, is amusing and can be played by a wide audience. Within a few years, the game has ripened into a sport, with national championships organized every year.
United world games
The United World Games are an annual major event under the patronage of the UNESCO, which has been growing and developing ever since its inaugural edition in the year of 2005. Over the years however, the United World Games have transcended the event and turned into a global movement and community on top of it. UWG is emblematic for the many positive values and dimensions attached to sport: respect, fairplay, responsibility, cooperation, teamwork, exchange and friendship, exercise and health.
Institute Popotnik
Institute Popotnik is a Slovenian NGO. It was founded in 2016 with the aim to promote healthy lifestyle, active leisure activities and sport as a tool for development in Slovenia. Their mission is to use sport and sport tourism as an instrument for positive societal and personal change. By cooperating with other organisations and federations, they implement projects in the field of sport on the local and international level. For companies, they organise sports events, team buildings, conferences and promotion campaigns. Institute Popotnik also works in close cooperation with the Faculty of Sport at the University of Ljubljana.
German Sport University Cologne
The German Sport University Cologne is Europe’s largest, university in the field of sport and exercise science. GSUC utilises its excellent interdisciplinary research opportunities to ensure its position as a leader in both national and international sport and exercise science and has a unique capacity to conduct transdisciplinary research with other universities and institutions worldwide. The university continually invests in innovation and emphasizes the growing significance of a physically active lifestyle in terms of health, social politics and economics.
