Final Meeting in Cologne

Our fourth and final project meeting of the I.M.Health project took place in the beautiful city of Cologne, Germany, hosted by the prestigious German Sport University Cologne.

The meeting was held on the university’s stunning campus, where the project team gathered to explore its state-of-the-art sports facilities. A highlight of the visit was our time at one of the university’s pools, which proved to be an excellent venue for Water Skyball. In waist-deep water, we had the opportunity to introduce and demonstrate this exciting sport.

Two student groups from water sports courses joined us during the day. We began by presenting the I.M.Health project and explaining the rules of Water Skyball. The students then enthusiastically took to the water, trying out the game in various setups. Their rapid learning curve was impressive, and it didn’t take long for them to play thrilling and well-coordinated matches.

At the end of the day, the project partners came together to finalize the study based on the three-month training program we have been developing.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the German Sport University Cologne for hosting us and providing a fantastic platform to showcase and present the project and Water Skyball. This final meeting marked an inspiring conclusion to our I.M.Health journey!
